Really nice idea and cute graphics. The snowman could move a tick faster though.
In addition, I'm lacking some sort of game end. Maybe adding a highscore list (top 10) would help to get a sense of completion at the end... ;-)

What game engine / tools did you use?

PS: There seems to be a small bug that causes the gold to get a lot of figures after the decimal point after buying the middle hat on page 2 (forgot the name). I love the shop idea! :)

Hello, Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you think it's nice and cute.

For the bug I had faced it and got the solution but didn't update it yet! (I didn't round the decimal and I think the long digits come from the Javascript common error when computing decimal numbers)

For the game engine I used GDevelop as it's great for developing a small game in a limited amount of time (This was a 3-day game jam submission)

For the tools I used Aseprite for pixel art and sprites some sound effects from the  tool in game engine itself, and that's all about the tools the music and sounds I used are mentioned on the credit page at the main menu, It's free so I picked them.

Currently I have little time to update it cuz I'm making a new game.

The plan is to

-fix bugs

-update more hats

-fix sounds and BG music looping

-improve character movement as so many people mentioned it

-as you mentioned end game content I will try to update the leaderboard system but I'm a newbie at making game maybe it'll take time.

Thank you for the long reading.

Thanks for getting back to me! 😁

That sounds good and logical. As I just started out learning GameDev with Godot 4 in November 2023, I can totally relate. I’m in the process of finishing my 2nd game and there’s a big list in my backlog which I have to skip until a v2. It’s a Christmas-related game and I already missed the holidays deadline… πŸ˜‚πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

All the best for your GameDev journey! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘‹πŸ»πŸ˜ŽπŸ€
